INDONESIA is THE LOST ATLANTIC CONTINENT ??

Is it a fact or just an assumption.
Before you decide about it, lets see first the theory about it.
Actually where is the exact location of Atlantic Continent ?
Let’s see theories from two scientists: Plato Vs Aryos Santos

* Plato (427-347 BC)
Based on his theory, ages and ages ago, when the large parts of this earth was covered by iceberg (Pleistocene Era), there were volcano eruptions occurred all at once, caused volcanic earthquake, iceberg melting, and flood. This phenomenon caused a part of the land sank below the surface. This sank land was Atlantic Continent.
He also stated that most of the volcano eruptions were taken place in land that nowadays we call Indonesia. These volcano included: Meru Volcano (west India), Sumeru Volcano (East Java), Volcano in Sumatera and Krakatoa Volcano (West Java). This Krakatoa has the most powerful eruption that split apart Java, and Sumatera.
Nevertheless, Plato determined that Atlantis was located at Atlantic Ocean (now).
At his time, he insisted that this earth had flat surface and surrounded by one ocean.
In proposing his opinion based on world history, seems Plato had done two mistakes. First, he said that the surface of this earth is flat and second regarding the position of Atlantic Continent at Atlantic Ocean. Based on the USA military’s research, there were no evidences of the lost Atlantic Continent’s existence in Atlantic Ocean.

* Aryos Santos – Brazillian scientist.
After doing research for 30 years, Santos stated that Atlantic is an area that we known as Indonesia nowadays. He showed 33 comparisons, such as landmass, climates, natural capital, volcano and irrigation system, Santos concluded that Atlantic is Indonesia.
Santos said that Atlantic was a continent that spanned from south of India, Sri Lanka, Sumatera, Java, Kalimantan to the east, with Indonesia as its central. That area consisted tens of active volcano and surrounded by Orientale Ocean (Hindia Ocean & Pasific Ocean).
Regarding the existence of Atlantic, Santos said that volcano eruptions caused the iceberg melting and streamed down to the ocean and size up ocean’s area. The volcano’s lava and ashes caused a great pressure on earth crust of ocean floor. This pressure caused earthquake and a great tsunami.

The similarity on their theory (Plato & Santos):
1. The lost land was Atlantic Continent and determined as Indonesia by Santos.
2. The length of volcano’s chain link in Indonesia: Kerinci, Talang, Krakatoa, Galunggung, Pangrango, Merapi, Merbabu, Semeru, Bromo, Agung and Rinjani. Only few of these volcano are still active.
3. The stream of volcano’s lava and ashes caused the mud deposit under the ocean. This mud then absorbed through the land, mixed with nature gases and become impossible barrier of mud.

Did disasters that occurred in Indonesia, such as earthquakes (in Aceh, Yogya, west Java and many other area) and also spray of Lumpur panas at Sidoarjo (city at east Java) can be as evidences that Indonesia is the lost Atlantic Continent (as Santos theory) ???

Note:
For your info, The Republic of Indonesia has the world's largest archipelago, spanning 3,200 miles from east to west along the Equator, nest between two continents: Asia and Australia, and two oceans: the Indian and the Pacific. Its main Islands are Java, Sumatra, Sulawesi, Bali, Kalimantan, Nusa Tenggara, Maluku, and Irian Jaya (the western part of New Guinea).
